Max Keuken and Ryszard Auksztulewicz have studied Cognition, Brain & Behavior (CBB) at MBCS between 2007 and 2009. So it has been four months already since my last and actually first update. Don't worry my faithful reader, I have not forgotten you! I have been quite busy in the past few months, mainly playing around in the basement, aka the dungeon, trying to make a machine work.....
Ryszard Auksztulewicz: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
At some point during the Masters programme at UvA I met a friend who had just participated in a TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) study. Back then, the closest encounter I'd ever had with a TMS coil was seeing someone stimulate the median nerve on his own forearm - not exactly the way one normally uses it in research.....
